| GLOSSARY Kaposi's
sarcoma is a disease in which
cancer cells form in the tissues under the skin or mucous membranes
that line the mouth, nose, and anus, producing red or purple
lesions. Untreated, KS can spread to other organs in the body
and become life threatening. KS most often results from a change
in body immunity. |
